SM Prime Holdings, Inc. is a property developer. The Company engages in the development of malls, residences, offices, hotels and convention centers. It operates in four segments: mall, residential, commercial, and hotels and convention centers. The mall segment develops, conducts, operates and maintains the business of commercial shopping centers and businesses related thereto, such as the conduct, operation and maintenance of shopping center spaces for rent, amusement centers or cinema theaters within the compound of the shopping centers. The residential and commercial segments are involved in the development and transformation of residential, commercial, entertainment and tourism districts through capital investments in buildings and infrastructure. The hotels and convention centers segment engages in and carries the business of hotel and convention centers, and operates and maintains services and facilities incident thereto. Its properties include SM Megamall and SM City Sucat.
