The Company operates through five segments: Options, North American Equities, Futures, Europe, and Global foreign exchange (FX). It offers trading across a diverse range of products in multiple asset classes and geographies, including options, futures, the United States, Canadian and European equities, exchange-traded products (ETPs), global foreign exchange (FX) and volatility products based on the Cboe Volatility Index (VIX Index). The Company also calculates indices that are used as the basis for products, such as its S&P 500 Index exchange-traded (SPX) options and VIX Index exchange traded options and futures, which includes volatility index products based on various market indices, such as the S&P 500, the S&P 100, and the Russell 2000, interest rate volatility indices and options strategy benchmarks.
