Oasis Petroleum Inc. is an exploration and production (E&P) company. The Company is focused on the acquisition and development of onshore, unconventional crude oil and natural gas resources in the United States. Its segments include E&P and midstream. The Company’s E&P segment is engaged in the acquisition and development of oil and gas properties. The Company’s midstream segment performs midstream services, including natural gas gathering, compression, processing and gas lift supply; crude oil gathering, terminaling and transportation; produced and flowback water gathering and disposal, and freshwater distribution. Its E&P activities are conducted by Oasis Petroleum North America LLC (OPNA) and Oasis Petroleum Permian LLC (OP Permian), which owns the Company’s oil and gas properties located in the North Dakota and Montana regions of the Williston Basin and the Texas region of the Permian Basin. Its midstream business segment is conducted through Oasis Midstream Partners LP (OMP).
